sometimes when i turn my jabra by125 set on/off it causes my DS3 controller to malfunction. im using a 60gb ps3. i tried deleting the headset and re-registering it with the ps3 but still the problem exists.

seems like the bluetooth signals are being crossed. Not real familiar with this type of problem, but if its possible, you may just wanna test another (friends or store bought). If you buy another, you could always return it after you give it a go.

I have a BT125 with my 60GB and it's never done that to me. I have to turn my Jabra on and off a lot while in game (my dogs like to bark and I spare everyone else the joy) while playing COD4. Only time it's ever acted weird is when it needs a charge.

Does this only happen in a certain game, or all games?

i only use it while playing cod. it makes the controllelr lag. i have to turn the controller off and turn it back on for it to work properly. signal interference is what i suspect. like i said, it only does that sometimes when i turn the headset on/off while playing.

If you have a launch/early unit and the original controller, then I would suggest replacing the controller. They were quietly updated the sixaxis in early 07 with better antennas. I bought my 60GB in August of 07 and have never had the controller drop/interference problem.
