It looks pretty cool and if I used a controler to play it maybe but I use a G25 and playseat setup and it just doesnt feel right. I definitly didnt like the wheel controls in the demo. Game does look pretty damn cool and I know its a diffrent game then GT5P but did anyone feel the same about the wheel controls?

No amount of damage modeling can make up for awful driving feel in a driving game.

If you want damage get Paradise, at least it doesn't pretend to be a real racer.

Yep, just not for me, being the GT5P with G25 kinda racer... it's an arcade game not a driving simulator.

Hi everyone, I downloaded the GRID demo for the PC and noticed it was multi-language (English, Spanish, etc.).

So I was wondering if the U.S. version of GRID for PS3 is Multi-language, too... That would be cool! Although I can understand English, it always gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling listening to your own language, don't you think?

Mmmm, most arcade racers have a damage model. They're just terrible to play. See GRID.

Well, didn't like grid Demo that much. It is fun for a while but annoying, mainly online. Last time I played I was 1st, just in the corner I was doing a cool drift and the guy behind me didn't bother to take the corner, he just smashed his car into mine. My car couldn't go straight anymore, The aligment of the car was totally damage so the only way I could go straight unless I kept pressing right. In curves it was a nightmare.
Well, it is not a bad game and I like the damage in the cars but I don't like the feel on how to handle the car. It's not a bad game but not tempted to pick this one.
I prefer GT5P so far.

I prefer GT5 P over this but I would definitely not call it an "arcade" racer. The physics are similar to Dirt which was not a bad racer. All in all, I'm not getting it because something about the physics seems a little off and the graphics are definitely not as polished as GT5.

I'm enjoying the first few hours of playing this...particulatly the AI's driving choices: running into me and knocking me off course like a real driver would. I think the game is a lot of fun.

If its anything like the PC and 360 versions, the game is best played with a joypad from the 3rd person view.....you can try with the wheel in first person but you're gonna hate it. :(

I'd say its driving model is best described as "Unique"...like Ridge Racer is "Unique" :)

I think its pretty fun. the demo anyway. its fun sometimes to play a racing game w/ just the controller and not have to get out the steering wheel and crap.

and i do like GT and i have a race car in real life. Its ok to have fun sometimes and play something not "real" :P

If you're a fan of Dirt, then you'll probably like GRID.

I borrowed my buddies copy and wasn't very impressed with the game play.

That pretty much sums up my feeling after borrowing a buddy's copy. Lot's of nice eye candy, but very poor game play.

This is probably the best way to describe it. I liked DiRT so I didn't have much problem with it. As with all racing games, it takes a little getting used to.
