What does 'HCFR' stand for?

I googled it, wiki-d it, and all I came up with was: High Commissioner For Refugees !

Even when I qualified it with video or home theater, it came back with gobledy-gook.

Might as well know what it stands for if I'm reading about it!

I believe Home Cinema FRance if you look at their website. www.homecinema-fr.com

The very first hit when you type in HCFR to Google is:

At least admit you are being lazy and stop saying you have done "research." This is like the "does 720i exist" question you posted a while back. It takes literally 3 seconds to Google this stuff and find out.

i don´t follow D-6500 threads much but i know 1 thing.. people are very harsh with him on a few threads i read.

There is no reason for this thread to exist. If he just had to ask this question, the most appropriate place would have been here (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=786966), here (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=983943) or here (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=799521) (not to mention numerous threads involving HCFR that already exist).

For the record it's "home cinema.fr" (for FRance). Let this serve as notice that my mention of it is probably only the second time it's been spelled out here on the AVS site. I was researching it under the premise that it was a protocol or specific method of calibration - it's not, it's just the name of the news group of the fellows who invented the HCFR software.

And I don't know what your personal problem with me here is, sperron, but at least GeorgeAB and I had some PMs about areas of my conduct here that needed help. I was just going about my business here of discussing our shared interest. You, OTOH, just berate and attack me. I am certainly grateful that we didn't go to the same high school together.
