I love the new cover for the sixties Adam West/Burt Ward Batman movie. It's going to have to be a really big improvement to justify the $30 price vs the less than $10 of the special edition DVD though.q

I enjoy watching Clint Eastwood movies and with John Malkovich playing the heavy, In the Line of Fire is an excellent movie.

I really hope Gangs of New York turns out well

I'll be curious if the EE is still there on Gangs. It was a poster child for EE.

Interesting titles, unfortunately July is import month for me I have Night Watch and Day Watch arriving with Sweeny Todd (HK version) coming in from Japan.

May I suggest adding one more bit of information which is very handy for international viewers. Please mention whether the Blu-Ray disc is Region A, B, C or Region ABC (region free) so that it is easier ascertain which discs require which player. Thanks a lot.

Thank you for clearing that up Ralph. I asked because I didn't see the Region Code mentioned in the National Treasure (1 & 2) review threads. Does it mean that they are Region A-B-C [all regions]?

Hey, Point Break is an absolutely necessary piece of American cinema. Without it we wouldn't have many of the hilarious punch lines in Hot Fuzz. :p

The audio and video should hold up quite nicely on Blu-ray.

Well thats a waste if thats the case.If there going to start releasing movies on BD that show very little improvement over the SD we are all going to start to wise up and not bother anymore with all the older releases on BD.i was even going to order the Lost Boys on BD but know im going to wait and see if it's worth the purchase.

I received the disc on Thursday. It is atrociously bad. It may be the worst looking HD release EVER (worse than the first Full Metal Jacket).

I was reading an all time top 100 films list the other day and Point Break was on it. The reasoning was because of its influence on other detective films and that it was directed by a woman. I think it was the Times Online.

I'm looking forward to the Jack Ryan collection to see how the Hunt for Red October will turn out on BD.

Any idea when a review of the Top Gun BD will appear (I think the disc escapes on the 31st)?
