Just coming on, PQ looks about on par with a regular NASCAR on FOX event.

The SD version seems overly compressed here displaying on my plasma set via Time Warner. All the graphics, the dirt, just about everything is macroblocking noticably.

The local TWC region seems to be off the ball on this one as the HD iND channel has the race listed on the guide, but nothing to order. SD is fine though. Upsetting tbh and I'm not willing to fight with them so we don't have to pay twice for it.

Hopefully they'll bring us SpeedHD by the time it re-airs later on there.

I had the same problem with Charter (who, here, had added the HD PPV channel literally just yesterday. So got a nice bonus :) ). It only showed as available to order the SD version on my box, but a phone call got me the HD version.

The Fox crew is the one that produced it.

I watched it on my in-laws DirecTV and we only got the SD version. He didn't want to pony up the extra $10 for the HD feed. Even in SD on DirecTV, it was a good PQ. Much better than what I remember it being on my Comcast last year.

I should be switched to DirecTV by the time the re-air comes on SpeedTV. Can't wait.

Why would the HD be $10 more? The HD and SD were both $24.99 via TWCSC. HD production was very good ,and it was great not having commercials.
