This is for a temporary set up until my basement is finished. Getting a PS3 have Onkyo 605 and TV is 720p and accepts everything but 1080p. The cord will only be connected during PS3 play and BD play. After the basement is finished the cord will only be used for the receiver set up.

This will go from the receiver to the TV. A 20ft will come out to the front of my receiver and go along the floor. A 15ft cable will dangle in the air, A picture is included and a string is what the cable would do. Is it OK to leave it hanging there for a few hours?

Here are the cables I am looking at:

Dude, get a cable long enough so it's not hanging in the air like that, that's silly.
