I currently own a Panny TH-50PHD8UK commercial model and was thinking of purchasing an Onkyo TX-SR606 receiver or the HT SP908 HTIB. I have Com#@$% service and was wondering if anyone is currently using an Onkyo receiver and how they setup their system. I'm concerned the the audio portion because the Com box only has one DVI or HDMI input for video. I currently use an optical line for my audio.

Is the optical line just as good or better for audio then HDMI or DVI?

Does anyone have a setup using 2 DVI or HDMI, one for A, one for V? I'm not sure if Com!@#$ has a box with 2 HDMI or DVI's.

I would hate to purchase the Onkyo and lose some sound quality because of the optical line.
