Looks pretty cool from the video and I liked Commando and Mercs. Anyone else interested in this one?

The video kinda put me off.

Boss fights, and playable vehicles where never part of the original commando. And I think that's why I liked the old one so much.

Has anyone played it? The trailer made it look like a fun casual multi-player shoot 'em up. I had fun with the original, and am right on the edge of buying this...

Bought it. I like it, it's fun and the 3 player co-op is a blast!. Nothing that will blow your socks off, but for $10, one of the better deals around.

I bought it and I think it's one of the better top down shooters out, despite getting poor reviews, and lack of the Street Fighter beta.

It's a good amount of fun but it is short and not too difficult until you crank up the difficulty to 4 stars. The game gets easier as you progress though since your weapons get stronger and powerups are much more abundant late in the game (at least on the 2 star difficulty). That being said, the first 3 levels are a good challenge on the 2 star difficulty and by the end of level 3 your weapons are so powerful you can just plow through everything pretty easily.

When you run out of lives it's game over....start from the beginning of Level 1 and it doesn't appear that you can choose which level to start on until you finish the game.

And the online/offline co-op play is a good load of fun. Well worth $10.
