I recently purchased a BIC H-100, and it is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. I currently have a Y Splitter subwoofer cable I got from RadioShack that I used with my old Velodyne VX-10.

Would this cable work for the BIC H-100? Or should I go and purchase a different cable from RadioShack. Thanks in advance.

That will work just fine, if it is long enough.

Thanks for the quick reply, I was hoping I didn't have to drive to the Shack to pick up a new cable...so it doesnt matter if one of the two ends is just hanging there when 1 is connected?

I'm looking at the manual I found online, and all I see is a "Sub In" so I'm guessing that's where Im gonna connect one of the ends from the Y-cable I got

No, the Bic H-100 has one LFE input. I have the sub.

is it better to use both the L/R or can you just use a single cable?

If your sub has L/R inputs and you use a y-splitter, you might see a 3db increase, but you can also get that by bumping up the gain slightly when you calibrate it.

is it better to use both the L/R or can you just use a single cable? If the sub only has a single LFE input, then this is moot.

Okay, so it's okay to use a y-splitter with the BIC H-100 eventhough one of the ends from the cable will not be used and be hanging there?

Do not let the center pin touch ground when the AVR is turned on. You should put some electrical tape over it.

Lol...thanks again, I feel like the loose end is gonna make contact with something and mess up my sound.

Wrap it in something non-conductive, like black electrical tape.
