Well currently I have a Dayton sub-120 and am itching to upgrade. Ive been very happy with my current sub but know it could be a lot better and lately I have been noticing a lot of its flaws.
My budget for a sub is pretty small. I could probably manage to get the BIC only if I sell my Dayton.
Has anyone used both of these? I'm wondering how much of a difference there would be between the two. I definitely don't want to go down in output. The room is fairly small, about 15*12 but also has a small stairwell in it.
Another thing I was thinking about doing was getting another Dayton since my current sub is to the right of my right main and at my seating position this causes bass to be uneven from the left to right of my seating positions. A pretty good amount less really so I think another identical sub on the left would really help since my room is not very good acoustically.
Would the the BIC be capable of more output (spl wise) then the Dayton?
Would one BIC be better then two Dayton's taking into account wanting more volume at the seating position as well as more even from left to right of the seating position?
If I went with another Dayton I could get it at least 20% off at partsexpress's annual tent sale in about a month.
Any suggestions or opinions appreciated.
