I have a 42 inch plasma series 4 450.Ive got it connected to my PC though the HDMI/DVI cable and the audio looks great.Ive also got it connected to my sound card via 3.5mm/2 rca cable.

I have it plugged in to the proper port for HDMI audio on my TV.I tried it in the port my comp speakers were connected to and every other port on the sound card with no luck.

I have a sound blaster audigy se sound card.I know its a bottom of the line sound card.Is it possible this sound card just does not work with this set up or could it be another issue?

Did you check the volume control advanced properties to make sure that the output you are using isn't muted?
