Hi,

I have a problem with the red and blue rasters drifting slowly and slightly (half centimeter) for three hours. I removed the convergence board, so it is not the problem.
After reading Curt Palme's Layout and setup tips for 808, I realized that I have the 17v test point at 17.5v on the SMPS board. Could it be the reason of my problem ?

Service manual states 17.2 V, so it's ok to have it little over 17 V.

17 V line voltage varies little, for example debending about picture you display during mesurement...

Checked from 801s service manual, it's pretty same board wise.

google for the manual. There used to be a few sites that had them for pdf download $5 or so.
