I'm looking to take some home audio/video and theater install courses. Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a thing?

Are you looking at getting into the trade or just so you know how to install your own equipment? If you are looking at getting into the trade then you would be wise to get your electricians license, which will involve an apprenticeship. Unless you want to hire on a sparky and just run the cables and tune the system your self. It all comes down as to what your motivation for the course is. It could pay to find a local installer and ask if he needs a gofer, and learn the ins and outs of installing.
