I Just bought this 550 from best buy after owning a the same tube tv for close to 17 years I am sure somebody in here has asked this in here before but I am not comp savy enough to find it. My friend says I can adjust the settings to get the best picture and sound out of it. He told me to look on the internet for the best ones. So if anyone has it could you post them on here. The pic and audio?
Its a Samsung 52inch LN52a550.I think the picture is amazing and dont know how it could get any better.

Go over to the LCD flat panel area to look for other owners of your TV to trade settings. This area is for people that care about doing it right to attain an accurate image.

Trading settings is not doing it right. It might get you something that looks okay to your eye ... or not.

You should just try some free test patterns found on any THX mastered DVD and they will help you to real improvements in just a few minutes. Real improvements based on your TV and DVD player combination ... rather than some other random sampling of equipment.
