Have two LG multi DVD recorder/players: one 2 years old one 2 months old.Work great and zero compatibility problems transferring finalized discs. But now copyright issues.

Have two DirecTV cables in: one HD one STD.

Since mid-March I have been blocked from recording any content on the premium movie channels. Not just specific movies, but the entire channels 24/7.

So far DirecTV has repeated a mid March download; no effect. They are still looking.

LG so far is useless. Buys copyright software from Macrovision. But most of that companies products sold off to Acresso, it is hard to get a tech from the remaining portion of the original company.

Any ideas out there?
