I was at my local Bed Bath & Beyond just browsing around and came across a display unit popcorn machine. Original price is $299 and it was brought down to $229.

Here is a link (http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=12939108) to show the machine.

Is it worth the buy? I'm not too sure about popcorn machine brands and whatnot, but it looks cool and I figured I might be able to use it.

I would want them to go a little lower on the popper but I'm frugal.

It looks like the "Helman Group" popper. I think these are the brands that have jamming problems with the stirrer but I'm not 100% positive.
If you don't need the stand you can get a similar one without cheaper.

Similar one with stand from Costco.

Thanks pcdoctor. The more I look at it, the one without the stand looks a little more practical to me as I don't think I'd like to have a huge thing standing in the middle of the floor with what little floorspace I have.

The cheaper standless one is a 4oz kettle. I would try to get them to reduce the display unit more than that.

Good luck!
