Not sure if anybody here can help me answer this. I'm doing major rennovations at my house (basically gutted). I bought some in-wall HDMI from monoprice to put into my fireplace when I was building it so I could wall-mount my TV and connect to cable box. Anyways, when the drywall people were putting up the wall, they didn't protect the cables properly and now I've got drywall compound caked onto the cables. Just wondering, what is the best way to clean it off? I don't want to damage the jacket protecting the cables.
