I am hoping that some Knowledgeable people here will be able help.
My Toshiba XS34 started showing Error 7000 the manual indicated this is a hard disk error. It would do nothing with this error displaying.
To check the hard disk I attached it to my pc and it initialised it but not formatted it all looks ok on the PC so I out it back in the recorder now I get a new error 7061.
Is it possible to fix this or is it only good fro the bin?

I have read all night.
I cant get my XS34 tofactory reset tried all in the thread mentioned above, what am I doing wrong.
I am still getting the error 7000 so I have down loaded the segate tools and factory resetting the HD.
I think I need toget the unit to reset.
I will in stall the HD tomorow and srr if I get any thing different.

HOW do you clear ERR7000

Well, you shouldn't've initialized it on the PC. These recorders don't use personal computer formats (at least as anyone has figured out).
