My picture is a psychedelic mess. It starts out with just the color but then goes on to freezing, remote not working and finally it shuts itself off.

I replaced the color wheel a few months ago for the banshee problem. It's been working perfectly. When this happened I tried the old one and no difference. I also replaced the bulb, since it almost had 6000 hours on it. No luck.

I've checked out the fans and they're both working.

Anything to try before calling a service guy? This TV may not be worth that. It's a shame these TVs seem to be lemons since it has such a good picture when it works.
