I'm trying to run my Samsung 5000 at 1080 24fps into an Integra 9.8 pre/pro (into a Pioneer Elite 110FD). For some reason, the Integra refuses to lock on to this setting, always reverting back to the 1080 60fps setting.

I had no problems previously with an Onkyo 805 receiver, as well as feeding the Sammy's output directly into the Pioneer TV.

Any suggestions?

Problem fixed -- I had the on-screen display turned on, which does not work under 24fps (silly bug). Once you turn off the OSD, which shows the volume control etc on the TV, 24fps works like a charm.

ahhhh, can it be this simple? i have the onkyo pro 885 (nearly same as 9.8) and was unable to get 24p working even after reading the manual 10 times. I have to try turning off the display when i get home!
