Glackowitz 06-16-08, 08:38 PM Your best bet is to go with an RF based remote....URC, RTI, Harmony This will allow you to not have to point your remote an an eye in the room, the remote will send RF signals to a base unit in the cabinet and convert it back to IR and control the devices. This would be more reliable and easier to use www.universalremote.com www.rticorp.com http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/features/harmony/US/EN,CRID=2078 ruhkus 06-17-08, 05:35 PM Thanks for that post. I was just reading about those RF remotes that convert back to IR. I wanted a remote that felt like a regular remote in my hand so it was effortless to change channels. What is the best and easiest RF to IR remote on the market?... your help is much appreciated. aymanme 06-17-08, 11:43 PM Many people like the Harmony 890 with the RF base station. It is relatively inexpensive and easily available. |
