Im having difficulty connecting up my home theatre to my PS3 to take advantage of blu ray audio.
I have component video from my PS3 to my TV and a digital optical cable from the PS3 to my surround sound receiver. I go into the sound settings and set it to Linear PCM. I go to the BR/DVD audio settings, select Digital Optical, and then it gives me a list of choices of which frequency of my receiver. It has a list from Dolby 5.1, ACC, and a few Linear PCM frequencies. There's about 5-6 choices, and two of them are checked but greyed out. Im not really sure which choice to choose so I select all of them.
Now the problem is I'm only getting sound from the front and center speakers and not the rear ones. Ive tried adjusting the PS3 settings forever and cant get it to work.
If anyone's able to help, I'd really appreciate it. Oh, and I hope this question is on the right board.

Put the audio to bitstream.
