I've had this question rattling around my brain for the last week or so, finally felt I might as well ask it here.
I've got an Arcam AVR350. It's capable of bi-amping front R/L.
My question is... is there a specific way they have to be wired up? There's the 2 sets of binding posts on the speakers... one for High Freq. one for Low Freq. obviously. I would assume the bottom posts are Low Freq and the top posts are High Freq.
So which set of wires goes to which binding posts on the speaker? Does one specifically need to go to top binding post, and the other to the bottom? Or does it not matter at all?
Manual for the Arcam says nothing about this aspect. Manual for speakers (PSB T65) also says nothing about this.

Page E29 of your owner's manual shows the complete wiring for bi-amping the left and right main speakers. Is there something specific about it that is not clear?
Normally the upper pair of terminals are the HF pair. However it does not actually make any difference. All four channels on the AVR are processing a full range signal. If the zone two amps are the same as the front channel amps both connection alternatives are electrically the same.
Just be certain that any jumper on the speaker terminals is removed as the first step.
Don't expect a tremendous (or much or any) improvement with this setup.

Heh... I realize it seems like a dumb question and honestly it probably is. I was merely being thorough and like I said, it was kind of bugging me thinking about it.
The manual doesn't mention anything directly about whether you need to have cable from FR terminals of AVR to lower terminals of speaker, and SBR to upper terminals or vice versa. I had assumed that because of this, it didn't matter where you connect what. Of course I know to remove the bridges.
I've had it hooked up for about a week. It makes a noticeable difference using the bi-amp feature with stereo music listening (mostly at elevated listening levels). It's not like jaw dropping or anything but it definitely helps out in my situation. I have my room wired in-wall for bi-amping, and I leave my system in 5.1 mode bi-amped 24/7 unless I watch a movie with 6 channel sound, then I switch back to bi-amp 5.1. I listen to more music than I do movies/HT.
Thanks for the reply.
