I need to go about 12M. The home theater installer wants me to buy something like $700 dollars worth of HDMI (2 runs - 12M). That sounds high to me. The monoprice a number of you have recommended seem good - but they don't have 1.3 compliant HDMIs beyond 25ft.
I think I need to have 1.3 (1080p display) and pretty sure I need CL2 (or better?) for inwall installation.
I was thinking a good compromise between the economical monoprice and the ultra expensive might be either:
http://www.lenexpo-electronics.com/12M-40FT-ATLONA-FLAT-HDMI-CABLE-BLACK-COLOR-.-HDMI-1.3b-Certified-p-16712.html (which are still fairly expensive), or these
http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/hdmi-cables/series1hdmi.htm
Which run about $100 bucks each for that distance. . .
Any thoughts? I'm a little concerned because of the in-wall installation - I don't want to have to retrofit and replace - so it seems cautious to go with quality cables that will last - I just don't want to get taken to the cleaners in the process.
Thanks.
