It's just a matter of personal preference. You definitely get larger screens for the money with DLP than flat screens. How far will you be sitting from the display? What is your budget?

Do you need to hang it?

Do you ever watch tv on a big angle or standing up?

Are you filthy rich and have money to burn?

If you said No to these, get DLP :D

DLP tv's give you the most size for the money. The only drawback to them is that they cannot be wall mounted, they take up to 14 inches in depth and you cannot view them at extreme angles.

RBE and SSE are reasons not to buy DLP. Plasma has reflections off the screen. If you can't stand
rainbows and reflections, like me, then get an LCD that doesn't have either.

But LCD has a slight cartoonish look to it...especially when compared side by side with a good DLP...and yes I have both...SONY KDL40V3000 & SAMSUNG HLT5089S LED DLP...if I had never seen a DLP I would have been fine with LCD...
