Hi All,

I have a Gateway GT5678 that has a HDMI port and wireless keyboard and mouse. Will a HDMI cable be able to allow me to use my computer through Onkyo HT790 home theater sytem?

Your receiver doesn't have HDMI inputs...so...no you can't hook it up that way.

What are you trying to accomplish by hooking up your computer to your receiver?

Streaming music? Streaming video?
