I know that everytime a signal is sent through a switch/device/splitter you run the chance of having problems. I have a PS3, Xa2, AppleTV and HD Cable Box that i feed into THIS (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=101&cp_id=10110&cs_id=1011002&p_id=4088&seq=1&format=4#feedback) monoprice switch. The switch goes to my Yamaha 663 receiver witch then feeds my Z2000 projector. However, i would now like to spit the signal coming from my receiver to feed both the projector, as well as a LCD in the same room. My screen comes down in front of the LCD, so i'll still be using my AVR/speaker setup for both options. I am considering trying This (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=101&cp_id=10113&cs_id=1011301&p_id=3049&seq=1&format=4#feedback) powered monoprice splitter. A couple of the reviews mention having issues with HD Audio after using this splitter, but since i'll already by past the audio phase of the line, i should be fine right? I have no need to be able to use both devices simultaniously if that matters. From the reading i've done thus far, it seems that people seem to recommend the Gefen unit, but it's considerably more expensive. If thats what i have to do, thats fine, but i'd rather not drop more coin than i need to.
Thanks in advance.
