I need help with trying to get my sound back. I'm running a Sony 720 connected with a PS3, Dish DVR receiver and a Mitsu Wdy57. Im not getting any sound now. I have the DVR and PS3 running with HDMI, the DVR is running with HDMI and Optical and the PS3 with just HDMI. I've tried a master reset on the TV but doesnt do any good and have tried all the settings on the 720 with no avail.

Anyone have any ideas? Why must this S*** be so difficult to setup?

I found that whenever I have lost sound it's because I've accidently changed some "source" setting, either input or output.

check if the ps3 is setup to output audio via HDMI and go from there. are your other sources(dvr etc) working with sound or is this a problem with every source? if the other sources are working, try switching cables and input on tv from that source to ps3
