Hi All,

I've been using the IR2BT now for about a week along with my Harmony 880, the PS3, and the rest of my home theater equipment. When I power on the 880 to macro the "watch Blu-Ray" activity [PS3, Integra 7.8, Sony 46" LCD], everthing starts up OK, but when the PS3 comes on, the beginning music starts out about in the middle [like the first 1/2 is cut off].

Is there a way to re-order the events [if that is the correct solution] so that the entire PS music intro plays? It's not a real big deal, but just a little bit annoying when I'm demoing my system and the the PS3 intro music comes in late.

Thanks for your help.

Mitch

You could probably do [Integra, PS3, TV] right? That way, the receiever will be on before the PS3, therefore letting the PS3's intro play all the way through from the beginning.

Thanks,

As you suggested, I rearranged the order in which the devices turn on in my "watch Blu-Ray" activity. Now I have the PS3 last after DTR 7.8 and Sony LCD. However, I guess the Integra takes a while to turn on and get set to the correct input because I'm still getting part of the PS3 intro cut off.

Thanks,

Mitch

Increase the power on delay for the integra.

Thanks Beerstalker.

If I increase the power on delay for the Integra, wouldn't that make it power on later? I think that I need it to power on faster way before the PS3 kicks on. Is this correct?

By the way, where are these power on settings? Is that in the activity settings?

This might be due to the HDMI handshaking and that there isn't anything you can do about it. I have an Integra 9.8 and I get the same thing...but it isn't nearly as long. Make sure you're on the latest firmware rev since I think this has improved, atleast for the 9.8.
