hello
i've just installed my nec 9 pg xtra and i've some "troubles"... with the dot test,when i try to make a good focus with the position "edge separate", nothing happened... When i hit the remote, i can't see any changements on the screen and my red dots needs to be well focused... Any ideas?

It could be that your focus board has failed. Post a pix of the test grid. See if the trimpot on the deflection board will bring the focus back at the edges (but then usually the center focus is bad).

If so, the focus board is bad. I can repair yours or sell you another one.

it is only on the red... and the center is pretty sharp... but i can't do a good focus on the corners...
I can't post pictures today because i have not my camera in my home... i will try tomorrow.
I can not adjust with that "edge separate focus", i do not know how to do... i must be a dumbass!

he prob is doing the same thign i was doing. i didnt notice the arrows at the top, left, right and bottom of the screen. it took me a few minutes to realize that pressing crl and the direction i wanted to control allowd me to do so. try that and see if it helps the arrow that is filled in is the one you will be adjusting.

I haven't seen these arrows!

it may not be in that screen in particular, but it is in some of the screens that let you control one side from the other. hope that helps

Edge Separate barely does anything, you have to look carefully to see any effect at all.
