I just purchased a Yamaha-RX V663. Next up is 4 SBS-01 speaker fronts/rears along with a PB-10 sub from SVS. The fronts will be within 1-2M of my receiver and the rears about 5-7m.
Which wires will I need to get for them?
SVS Sells connects for the sub here: http://www.sonicboomaudio.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=553 Is that really necessary or can I pick up a cheap one at monoprice that does the same thing?
Thanks :)

for the speaker wire, this (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10239&cs_id=1023901&p_id=2789&seq=1&format=2) will work for you or you can save some $ and get 14ga wire with very minimal loss. May I also suggest these (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=104&cp_id=10401&cs_id=1040115&p_id=2801&seq=1&format=2) for easy setup.
For the sub wire, all you need is something like this (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10236&cs_id=1023603&p_id=2682&seq=1&format=2).

thanks for the links. Is 12AWG better than 14AWG?

Is 12AWG better than 14AWG?
It's thicker, but not necessarily better; the length of the wire run would dictate the thickness to use. Thicker wire is also somewhat less easily maneuvered, so that can become a concern. The price difference between 12 and 14 gauge was quite trivial when I purchased my wire, so while 14g would have been perfectly acceptable I went ahead and bought the 12g.

alright thanks for the info. I will just get the 14AWG.
As for HT cables, I am not sure there either. I will be using a Yamaha RX-V663 along with a 360 connected with component and a cable box with HDMI. What output cables do I need to get? Should I use a Toslink cable from my 360 to my receiver for audio?
360 -> component video -> receiver
360 -> toslink -> receiver
receiver -> ???????? -> TV
cable box -> HDMI -> TV
thanks!
