Dogma - Blu-ray Screenshots (http://chidragon.thedessie.com/bdcomp/dogmacomp/dogmacomp.html)
Only a few months late for most people interested in this movie. ;) I had some issues capping it when I originally wanted to. Amazon has it for 16 bucks now though.
Detail level is slightly above 720p, there is a difference to the downscale but you really have to be looking for it unless you go to 200%. 480p drop is pretty obvious.
1-40-40;03 comes from a panning shot with really soft focus and strange color fringing going on. I didn't spot any other shots like this and I'm sure it's due to the photography but I figure the bad should be pointed out along with the good.

That website makes no sense. I Frames? 1999 called, It wants it's website layout back.
Come on, how about mouse overs to see the difference.
Enough being negative, I appreciate your time for this.

I cannot get any of the pictures to load on any of the comparisons you have done. I tried Firefox and IE, and nothing!

I like how you always pick a frame that has a grid in it for the resolution test. That's how you do it.

I've always wanted to rip him for his website skills, but I feel bad because he's actually contributing something positive to this forum.
Although, Xylon does the same thing but he posts the images on this forum (no hotlinking).
Thanks anyway..

Yeah. I click on the links but nothing happens. What gives?

NONE of the pictures are working? The first one at least should load unless the site itself is down. It's working fine for me at the moment. When you click the links on the frame it uses a Javascript to swap the pics. In Firefox it doesn't show any difference until the pic is loaded (says transferring data in the browser status bar), in my IE version it changes to a black placeholder while downloading the new image. Of course you have to have Javascript enabled (as far as I know all mouseovers require it as well).

Burn! :D I know it's not pretty, but how doesn't it make sense? I made the layout for my T2 comparison where I had 4 different sources to contrast. That would take a bunch of mouseovers to switch from each source to each other source. Likewise in the resolution test there are 3+ pics, for which I'd need at least 2 mouseovers, and 3 for completeness.
I was thinking of just linking the pics and opening them in a new window/tab to switch between them, but I (I'm guessing most people?) have to scroll the pics even on my 1920x1080 TV due to the browser title bar, etc. Using the frames let you switch between the pics while keeping them scrolled to the same spot, and the links are still onscreen no matter how you scroll.
If you have a more practical idea I'd be more than happy to hear it. :)

The server must be slow then. In Firefox, I hit the new pic link, wait 5 mins and nothing has changed. Then I give up. Could you make an index page to all of your comparisons so I can try others.

They are working just fine. Apparently, the problem is that I just don't have any patience :)

Patsfan123, I've added an index page to my sig.
Chadci, why did you link to the 720p downscale?

to show that there is NO difference between the downscale and the full res one maybe.
Either the master isn't much better then 720p or they filtered it in some way, be it noise reduction or whatever.
