i have a denon 787 receiver that i currently have the following hooked up to it:
Polk Audio Satellite 5 speaker Surround (L/R input, 2 backs and one center).
Polk Audio R series floor standing speakers (front inputs)
Polk Audio Sub
I just purchased a pair of Atrium 45's for the back deck. They will be installed this evening but here is my question.
I did not purchase a volume control switch and do not have anything wired up right now for it. I was hoping to figure out an IR repeater solution but after reading so many posts, none fit my needs.
I have a logitech harmony 360 remote that is IR only. My deck in my back yard is within a few feet (5) of the window to the family room where my home theater setup is.
The only problem is the HT is caddy cornered facing the opposite way of the window. It would seem that I could get a IR repeater and place one sensor in front of the receiver and one sensor on the window sill where I can directly hit it from where I will be sitting on the deck. But what is the best way to go about this? I want to be able to control the volume, fast forward, rewind, etc. from where I am sitting on the deck.
Any help is extremely appreciated!
Thanks,
