The answer is all of the above, but right now the program is messed up and nobody has many answers about what movies if any are eligible. The linked list only has about 50 eligible titles instead of the minimum 135 items that is only mentioned 1 of the 4 fine prints

Regular price seems to have many meanings -- some managers will say no sale price and $5 discount must be taken from Regular non sales price EVEN though the Sunday ad itself gives multiple examples at discounts taken off sales price. The most reasonable explanation to their "regular price" seems to be able to restrict Price Matching and then having to add a Non Manufacturers coupon, but would make the actual sales price at the register the discount point. That part would actually make sense as it would follow the same logic as PM while also getting a gift card back

This sale from the first iteration has always led to major YMMV with different stores doing their own thing. This sale so far has been no exception in that
the trade in coupons aren't even working for the items in the ad, much less anything else. Over-rides are the only way to get it to work and at least least one poor soul has been told the trade in list is restricted to those at the www.bestbuy.com/upgradeandsave site which is beyond reason.

As noted above, it's a little confusing just how many/which titles qualify (the ad says both "any blu-ray $9.99 and up" and "choose from over 135 titles"). But, this is the list of supposedly qualifying titles:

Just got back and its ANY disc $9.99!

This gives me a great opportunity to truly upgrade this time!

Please note it IS NOT eligible on MUSIC Blu-rays as the lone exception. Any other Blu's, including those on sale are included. Thankfully the clusterf*** seemed to clear up around late afternoon yesterday. Went in and picked up 5 today. The only issue I had and I'll be trying another store is getting Stripes and Spider-man. Both of these dropped down in price to $9.75, suprised more titles besides these and 2 other titles did not do the same. Thing is they still have out on the floor and on the actual upgrade and save display tags for these 2 movies that state their price is $9.99 still. Problem with store I was just at said they would not override the cheaper price.

I am thinking of trying this out on some HBO season sets that are currently on sale for $24.99 (i.e. Rome, the Sopranos, Entourage, etc.). If these can be discounted with the $5 trade-in coupons, these sets would be $19.99 (plus tax), which would beat historic Amazon lows, at least in the case of "Rome", which I heard many good things about.

BB tip: Find the blu's you want to buy in-store before you go to the CS desk. At the CS desk show that you already have the Blu's you wanna purchase/upgrade and they will ring you up right there, so no need to go to the register and stand in line again.

Also, in the 'rules' of this special it mentioned you can't get your DVD's back after turning them in if you can't find the blu's you want. I believe you can use your $5 certificate up until the end of the promotion, so you can go back or visit another store. In any case it's easier to get the blu's in your hand before trading in your DVD's.

I couldn't find 'Raging Bull' even though it showed in stock online, the BB employee showed 2 in stock, he found it in the back stock area.

I have it (gift from a friend) and it seems to weigh about 5 lbs. They seem to be a limited edition also (mine is #4,980 out of 125,000).

Both the 4 disc Movie Only sets and older 6 disc Uk sets with the massive supplemental material are fully US compatible (same discs apparently).

If it's anything like previous Disney releases, the more expensive Blu-ray release (3-disc in this instance) will only be available in Blu-ray packaging. Then the 2-disc version comes in either Blu-ray packaging or DVD packaging.

I bought the UK Anthology, though it had different packaging than what is shown and it was indeed region free. I'd imagine these are the same discs.

Just note the UK 4 disc set has only a few extras while the 6 disc set which is $27 has all the extras like the US set.
