My wife suprised me with a Nostalgia Electrics KPM-508 popcorn machine. Checking out online and the manual, appearently it has a 2oz kettle. The pre portioned packets I find are for 4oz and up. But looking at the amount in the 4oz packet, even when halved, seems to be a lot more than the recommended measuements (1/2 cup corn, 2 tbls oil).
I was hoping some one could give me a good recipe for corn, oil, and flavoring to use in my 2oz machine.
OR
If some one has the same machine, let me know what you do.

All suggestions welcome!!

Thanks

I have used the 4oz packs in my 2oz kettel.Works fine. But I do not use pre portioned any more.I usally use about 3 tablespoon oil to a heaping halfcup of corn. The flavorcal is what you like.I like about a half tablespoon. The more you use the more salty.Just play around with the amount and write down what you like best.BOB

buddahead...

Thanks for the info! I will try that!! The instructions that came with my machine said 1/2 cup corn, 2tbls of oil, but no info on the flavoring. Maybe a little more oil will help to pop more of the corn, I had quite a few 'Old Maids'.
