Hi,
This is going to sound like a very stupid question...
I'm considering purchasing the pro150 and I'm wondering if I remove the speakers and mount it without them, is there still sound? Does it have an internal speaker?
I don't especially care but the wife will never learn how to turn the receiver on and select the right source in order to get audio....long story short I need a display panel that she can watch the bachelor on without having to engage the rest of the system.
Thanks!

This is the correct answer.
you can set up the systems so that for most of the tv-watching all you (others) do is turn the tv on; and for dvd viewing, you only need the tv (of courese) and the dvd. no other components required so no source selection.
1. get a cablecard ($2/mo or less) even though you have an stb and keep the original pio speakers
if she does not watch dvds, don't read further.
2. but if she watches dvds also, connect the dvd by hdmi to the tv, and connect the optical out from tv to a/v amp (assuming you will have that for your surround sound pleasures.
3. connect the optical out from pio to the a/v amp also.
so..if you she wants to watch bachelor, just turn on the tv; if you want to watch baseball with surround, turn on your a/v and select TV as the source
and...

Thanks for recommendations and answering my question! I really like the Samsung series 5 & 6 for the internal speaker but there's no comparison in picture quality.
I like the Harmony remote idea, maybe a macro labelled "The Bachelor" will do it.
Thanks again.
