But yes you can control the volume of a av receiver. First there HAS to be a tv code programmed to the tv device on the white remote, or the volume won't work at all. So once there a tv code, and a AV audio code that at least controls the power of the av receiver, to get the volume:

1. av1 or av2
2. press and hold MUTE & SELECT for two blinks
3. enter 9 9 3
4. press SELECT
