Curious if anyone can explain why I could not get dolby 5.1 when playing the Elton 60 Blu Ray disc. Choices appeared to be 2 channel pcm and or 5.1 LCPM or whatever. No matter what I tried with the disc menu, player menu and or my receiver I could not get 5.1. I have HDMI to TV and Coaxial to receiver. The Celine Dion disc played and sounded great in 5.1.

Is it that my Sony receiver STR 925 just cannot handle the uncompressed LCPM 5.1.

Guess I found my answer. Above should have read uncompressed PCM 5.1 which apparently can only be done via HDMI and not thru digital sound connection to receiver.
