I bumped the thread for the box set. This thread is for a different question, directed towards those who have viewed any of the 3 POC in Blu Ray:

How great do they look, and would you recommend purchasing any of them individually (or all 3) rather than wait for the box set?

I recently purchased a Samsung A750 46" and the Samsung BDP1500. This is my first introduction to HDTV. My only problem - I have no Blu Ray movies yet.

In CC I saw POC 2 being played on a Blu Ray hooked up to the Samsung 650 and was blown away by the picture. Having rarely seen HD, let alone the quality of 1080p, the picture looked almost 3D to me. It was truly incredible.

I am contemplating purchasing all 3 individually from amazon.com, but also heard of some sort of "framing issue" w/ possibly the 1st of the 3.

Just wondering if anyone can post about the quality of the 3 on Blu Ray, and whether or not anyone is holding out for the box set, or if I should just buy one or all now.

If I bought only 1, I would probably go for the 2nd one.

I personally think they are fantastic pq and sq.

All 3 have first rate picture, and audio, quality. Highly recommended. There is a framing issues for a few minutes with the first one, Disney are/were replacing them for free though. I'm not sure if the mis-framed first movie is still in circulation.

On sale from titme to time so I really wouldn't wait if you enjoy the content of these movies which I surely do. I own and watched all of them a few times and do go back to each from time to time. These BDs are hard to beat for quality strictly speaking from a bang for buck perspective.
