Is IN BRUGES heading for BLU-RAY ? I haven't noticed any announcement and the regular DVD is due out soon so I wanted to check before buying it.
Great wee film!

I haven't been able to find any new news on this title. It's one I definetly want to own. I just hope it's not like "There will be Blood" ...buy the SD and two weeks after it's release, the Blu Ray is annouced.

I'm going to double check other regions to see if there is an international release on BR. I don't remember hearing anything.

I have been keeping my eyes out and sadly no news at all in any region yet :( such a shame as its one of the best films of the year and no way I want to get a standard dvd of it, I want HD, as Bruges looks a lovely place :D

Guess it is a wait now to see if anyone bother with a HD version. It did ok in the UK so we may have a better chance than America.

I spent part of my honeymoon in Bruges, so this is definitely high on my "do want" list. We were even talking to a waiter in a bar about Colin Ferrill who had just been in town shooting a film. :D A great movie and a great city.

Agree w/the critics on this great little film....Sort of like a 'PulpFictionish' take on 'Before Sunrise/Sunset'. I was certainly disappointed when only the SD release was announced. Let's hope 'In Bruges' ends up 'In Bluray' ! :(

Its another movie lost in Universal's transition from HD DVD to Blu-ray. Same with Charlie Wilson's War.

I don't know whether or not to hold out on buying the SD-DVD tomorrow, but I feel like even when it comes out on Blu-Ray I'd rebuy it regardless

The SD DVD isn't anything to write home about either. Sound levels are a bit all over the place at times. This is one that could really use a BD release.
