My PS3 suddenly stopped responding to the remote. I had been trying to get some video captures from the Hauppauge HD PVR to stream thru TVersity but was back in the main menu area when it stopped. Controller doesn't work either. Turned it off with switch on rear, waited several minutes but could not turn it back on with remote or controller. It will turn on if you use the botton on the unit. A DVD will load and go to menu with picture and audio but no way to controll selections or playback. HELP! Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the response. A hard boot and leaving it off for 30 minutes appears to have fixed the problem.
