Another way to put FLV into Adobe Premiere for further editing! I used to convert other formats into flv then input them into Adobe Premiere. But just in the last two or three days a new tool comes out: FLV Importer for Adobe Premiere. It lets me leave out the step of the conversion for every file and every time. Just once for all. Really convenient. Does anyone know some other ways to get it? nina7683 07-09-08, 10:49 PM nobody interested ?:( vferrari 07-10-08, 06:00 AM nobody interested ?:( I think most readers (except plplplpl and the morbidly curious) pretty much gave up on this thread long ago for three reasons 1) from the start it had nothing to do with DVD recording 2) it devolved into a personal/social networking type discussion that was irrelevant to the original topic of the thread, off topic for the subforum (DVD recorders) and had absolutely nothing to do with AVS forum in general (i.e., more appropriate for myspace or facebook or something like that) and 3) regarding your last post in this thread, you already posted that information (again barely has anything to do with DVD recorders) in another thread which is getting some repsones. I'm not a moderator, but it might be helpful if you familiarized yourself with the forum rules regarding relevant topics for discussion in the forum and you might be able to find a more relevant AVS forum for your flv topic - e.g., perhaps the HTPC forum. Otherwise, I would think that you you would be more than welcome to discuss any topics, comments, or questions relevant to DVD recorders here and you would get much interest. Good luck. plplplpl 07-11-08, 05:18 AM Being kind to a new member, helping and encouraging them, and gently pointing them in the direction of a more appropriate resource (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=14253390#post14253390). vferrari 07-11-08, 07:02 AM Being kind to a new member, helping and encouraging them, and gently pointing them in the direction of a more appropriate resource (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=14253390#post14253390). plplpl, I actually, honestly thought that's what I was doing (pointing her to the HTPC forum). She asked why there was no interest, and I tried to explain why. Believe me, it takes a lot of patience to see this thread keep popping to the top of the list and then finding out that there is still no post within that has anything remotely to do with DVD recording or even AV and continue to remain silent about it. I realize you attempted to do this in your very first reply. But apparently nina didn't realize it or misunderstood in the course of your discussion. The fact is she keeps posting flv related topics in this forum so I decided, (once she asked why there was no interest) to be proactive and point her to a more appropriate forum and extend encouraging remarks should she choose to post something about DVD recording. plplplpl 07-11-08, 12:29 PM Fair enough. Thank you for your interest. Sadly, it seems things have not gone so well over at VH, either (http://forum.videohelp.com/member193197.html).:( I honestly think intentions were good, but perhaps there were difficulties in communication. bron 07-11-08, 08:43 PM Fair enough. Further, I felt there is/was something fishy about this user's posts. I could be wrong, of course, but this kind of posting is a very common technique when "fishing" for friendly people online who can be 'baited' later for various purposes. It could all be very innocent. But, that's the rub, you don't know who's at the other end of the keyboard nor what their true intentions are. But this kind of goofy posting is often a sign (wrong topic, wrong forum, damsel in distress sort of thing). Anyway...be careful, my friend! |
