I have a TSU7000 and am trying to learn the commands from my Olive Musica remote into the Pronto. I have been unsuccessful thus far and I have tried several times. I tried to hold the buttons down for longer periods of time and I thought that I had it at one point(since I was able to turn the unit on) but then when I tried to turn it off, it did not respond. There is not a discrete on/off so it is strange that this would work once, but not again. It is the same problem with the other commands. I have gotten some of them to work, but not consistently. Does anyone have any experience with this that could shed some light on my problem.
If all else fails, I could continue to use the web-interface for the Musica to operate it, but the problem is that you can't turn it on from the web-interface since the unit is not on yet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From the information I've found on Olive Musica, it seems that it uses RC5 ir protocol. RC5 uses toggle bit, which means that there are two sets of signal for each function that it alternates between each time you press a button. The problem is that when you try learning that signal with a learning remote, it only records one set and once you activate a command, the device will expect the second set for the next command and it won't accept another command from the learned command. From your description, it sound like that's the problem.
Fortunately, there is a solution. I believe the TSU7000 accepts short form of Pronto hex. Try entering the following hex code in the custom ir code panel for your power button:
5000 0000 0000 0001 0010 001A
See if that works for power toggle. If it work, I can post the other functions for you to try.

If there are others that are not listed here that you have taught your remote from the OEM remote, post the learned code you have and I can recode that into the short format.
