I want to get the toshiba rv530 because of price
but is there another 32 1080p tv that would let me use my pc via hdmi/dvi and an xbox 360 via PIP?

Isnt that TV too small to tell the difference between 1080 and 720?

I think the ONLY option for PIP at that size is the Sony, right? And then there are some restrictions to what you can do with the PIP in that model

After a LOT of research I can now tell you that there is NO SUCH THING as a low-cost 32 inch with PIP. The ONLY ones with PIP are all around $1,200 (Sony XBR6).

No, unfortunately, it is analog signal only which is EXTREMELY limiting as TV is going all digital shortly. Now, I am not certain is "analog only" means STRICTLY the VGA port or if it also means the composite and/or component inputs (as they are all "analog") but xBox via HDMI will not work in PIP. Go to the Sony site for the details.
