Have several of the newest D* Remotes. Would like one of them to control (IR) an old Hughes HBH-SA receiver. I entered the code specified in the instruction book. No dice.

Entered all the codes listed for D* receivers also no.

Yet an old D* remote will work it just fine. Anyone know the answer?

If the white remote is missing Format key under the TV input key, then you're out of luck. since the only Sat codes it knows are 00001-00004.

a white remote with a Format code accepts other Sat codes, like the hughes which is 00749.
