Some Best Buy stores still have a few left. See if you can find one. You're too late to the game.

Amazon has them in stock, but you won't like the price.

They're $950 new and $415 used. (I had a brainfart. I was on my way to dinner as I typed this.)

I won't post a link, as I don't know how to remove the referrer tags automatically generated by the site.

$415 for new seems to be an error on the site, that's actually for a used unit. The cheapest for a new unit through Amazon marketplace is $842.50 plus shipping. Neither of those are authorized Samsung resellers, though, so I would be very hesitant about ordering through them, especially if you end up getting a defective unit.

The best bet is to find it from one of these dealers (all are likely sold out unfortunately): http://www.samsung.com/us/peaceofmind/ceddealers.html or http://www.samsung.com/us/peaceofmind/itddealers.html

Ebay as already mentioned and froogle.com and pricegrabber are all your last resorts.

my bestbuy still has quite a few new ones for $480 and at least one open box for $299.

you are too late to the game to get any discounts on them... both have been discontinued so if you do find one it'll be old stock on clearance. That being said, just last month up here in Canada, Visions and futureshop were selling the LG Bh200 and UP5000 for sub 399.99 new... I got a bh200 for 369.99 while I passed on a samsung that became 349.99 new a week later.

Seriously, this is not the case...they are OOS online (http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/Search.do?c=1&searchType=user&keyword=BD-UP5000&searchSection=All&go.x=0&go.y=0) (notice the "not available for shipping" note). The only way to procure one online is via in-store pickup if one of your local stores has it in stock. For instance, none of the stores in north or east TX have one in stock and thus, it can't be purchased online. ;) I suppose if someone had enough time and gas to burn (or friends in all the major metropolitan zip codes), they could enter all the major locales until they find a store with stock but that is a fool's game for the most part. I just want to avoid people getting their hopes up unnecessarily here.

EDIT: OK, I lied, a store 91 miles (Tyler, TX) from me has it but that's over 180 miles round trip and with $4 gallon gas, I don't even want to think about the final cost of procurement.

You can find one at refurbdepot.com. They are selling them for $379.95 (refurb) + Shipping ($12.42 for UPS Ground to my Zip Code). They currently have them in stock. I've found these players are getting harder & harder to find (both locally and on the internet).

Good luck.

I got a refurb from amazon before and it's working perfectly, even before 1.3. Had no problems with I, Robot, Ratatouille, or Sunshine, which earlier were problem discs.

Bought an open box from best buy today for $304.99, and there were certainly others available at nearby BBs (most stuck with $489-$599 depending on store) and Magnolia AV stores ($399 demos, talked down to $350).
