Well here is my situation. I decided on the epson because of the brightness. I am going to watch a lot of games on this and dont want it that dark. I will be getting a da lite screen also

Any recomnedations on the Home or the PRo

Home is white, 2 year warranty, cheaper with a few different modes.

Pro is black, 3 year warranty, with free lamp and mount included.

Performance is near identical. Also, are you calibrating it? I only say because after calibration it loses a lot of light output.

I will not calibrate it if I dont have too

Well and that will depend on you and what you are expecting. For many, it is beautiful out of the box...no calibration needed. For others, they want to maximize performance. No right or wrong answer...everyone is different.

But my general thought for you is skip calibration and just go with the Home.
