My parents got a HD Terminal from Illico ( videotron ) *EXPLODER 8300HD*

to anyone who got a similar product, is it possible to use their terminal and transmit the hd signal to my television (the distance is worth mentionning here, it's on 2 different floors and 2 opposite side in the house.. )

OR do you guys suggest me to get a new HD terminal? I think I could get one around 250 bucks.

You can't use it to transmit HD via the existing cabling in the house, you'd need to run an HDMI or component connect from the STB (set top box) location to your TV. Given the distance, a second STB would probably be easier.

^^ not only that but you'd be stuck watching the same thing at the remote location. Get a second STB.
