To all the other canucks out there... happy Canada day.

I wore my team Canada jersey to work (had to explain that while yes, hockey season was over, we Canadians have other reasons to wear the colours) didn't have any moose meat, so dinner was lacking, but drank a bunch of Molson Canadian, then watched the trailer park boys movie! Thanks to my loving wife who made it all happen!

To all you canadians i say... Coo Loo coo coo coo coo coo cooooooooooo

:D

Talk about a bad idea... "i will just get a box of timbits!, much better than doughnuts!" nothing dissapears faster than timbits. i actually had somebody once say they had wondered what happened to the holes!

OK I don't know what you're talking about so I'll just post a picture of bacon cheeseburgers with Krispy Kreme donuts for buns.

Tell me you didn't make those at your last backyard bbq.

Never had 'em. Apparently you can get them at one or more of the Google cafeterias, where they are called "Luther Burgers".

OT: Do any of you know how much Krispie Kreme spends on advertising??!!

Nothing. Their success is built strictly on "word of mouth".

In case it isn't obvious, you can click on the picture and be taken to Amazon's Al Dente blog post about those burgers.

Dizzman,

Happy Canada Day to our neighbors to the North [ or South - I'm from the Detroit area,
and Windsor is actually SOUTH of Detroit. ]

To my fellow citizens of the USA; be sure to drive your Japanese cars fueled by
Middle East oil to watch Chinese fireworks as we celebrate our independence from
England tomorrow.

M,
At the risk of being pedantic, it was actually from Britain NOT England.:)

The Acts of Union were ratified 70 years before the American Revolution.

Oh, Mr. "Detroit is north of Windsor" Morbius loves pedantry :)

Frankly the 3 hour thunderstorm last night from 2:30-5:30 AM was far more impressive than the piddly 20 minute fireworks show that they had at the local airport.

When I want fireworks, I go to Seattle on July 4. Good times!
