i was just wondering
after i updated the firmware how can i change the subtitle size
didn't seem to change anything

in the firmware description :

" 5). Added selectable 24/16 dots subtitle fonts"

maybe i don't know where to look for it

From a Chinese HT forum, translated by Google: "limHD200i includes splendid subtitle size function as follow: To make subtitle bigger, sit close to TV. To make subtitle smaller, sit distant from TV."

Seriously- never got this function to work either. Maybe the "selectable" part didn't actually get implemented yet.

Actually i figured it out in case anyone is still interested :

after loading the subs hit the function key, it will bring up a little menu where you can choose the subs size, the background can be also set as black, red, green.Pretty neat but ....

I spent countless hours to make it working and it still doesn't do much.It just cuts the sound off on regular avi(divx or xvid) on ISOs on mkvs.It just starts to fast forward with no reason.Or worse it will start the movie normally and bang it will start doing it whenever you re expecting the least.
I could never make the FF to work.It will do nothing or it will pretend doing it and eventually it will start the movie from the beginning

I ll have to send it back and get a decent player
I ll be getting the Tvix 6500

I made a big mistake buying this Tomacro thingy.
A pile of bugs and unfinished things.
Too bad they fooled people to buy it

That pretty much sums it up. Consider Popcorn Hour (http://www.popcornhour.com) or ISTAR HD (http://www.istarhd.com) - you might prefer them over the Tvix 6500. They are open to user extensions and people are doing some cool things with them on the NMT forums (http://www.networkedmediatank.com/viewforum.php?f=13).
